  • ADG®: Swivel Joints

ARTA ADG® Swivel Joints prevent torsional stress in hose lines and pipelines, reducing premature wear on piping systems. Their flexible design also allows different sections of a line to rotate relative to each other. ARTA Swivel Joints are suitable for transporting liquid, gaseous and solid media. Thanks to their wide range of designs, they can be used in numerous industrial applications.

How do the ARTA ADG® Swivel Joints work?

The two connecting components of the ADG® Swivel Joint are mounted on one or two ball bearing races. This allows both pivoting movements and full 360° rotation.

What advantages do the ARTA ADG® Swivel Joints offer?

High compatibility through a modular design

Whether straight or curved, with threaded or flanged connections, ARTA offers the right swivel joint for every application. The modular construction system allows several swivel joints to be combined within a single piping system, providing maximum flexibility and mobility.

      Reduced wear and easy handling

The Swivel Joint prevents the hose from twisting, reducing mechanical stress and protecting it from premature wear. At the same time, swivel joints simplify the handling of piping systems, particularly rigid installations such as pipelines.

      High level of safety

Preventing torsional stress reduces the risk of hazardous situations and increases the operational safety of the entire piping system.

      Low maintenance and high durability

The use of high-quality materials and optimized ball bearing races ensures the long service life of ADG® Swivel Joints. Particular attention was also paid to minimizing maintenance requirements during their development. The infrequent maintenance procedures can be carried out quickly, easily and efficiently.

For which areas of application were ADG® Swivel Joints developed?

ADG® Swivel Joints are used in numerous industrial sectors as movable components of pipe and hose systems for transporting liquids, gases and solids. They are particularly suitable for use with loading arms and hose loading stations.

Ideally, the ADG® Swivel Joint is combined with an ASK Dry Break Coupling and an NTS Safety Breakaway Coupling.
