ADG®-M: Swivel Joint for marine applications
The ARTA ADG®-M Swivel Joint was specifically developed for the demanding conditions of marine applications. It reliably prevents torsional stress in hose lines and pipelines, reducing premature wear on piping systems. Its flexible design also allows different sections of a line to rotate relative to each other. The ADG®-M Swivel Joint is suitable for transporting liquid, gaseous and solid media.
Its robust construction and high resistance to saltwater corrosion make it the ideal swivel joint for marine and offshore applications.
The two connecting components of the ADG®-M Swivel Joint are mounted on one or two ball bearing races. This allows both pivoting movements and full 360° rotation.
Whether straight or curved, with threaded or flanged connections, ARTA offers the right swivel joint for every application. The modular construction system allows several swivel joints to be combined within a single piping system, providing maximum flexibility and mobility.
The swivel joint prevents the hose from twisting, reducing mechanical stress and protecting it from premature wear. At the same time, swivel joints simplify the handling of piping systems, particularly rigid installations such as pipelines.
Preventing torsional stress reduces the risk of hazardous situations and increases the operational safety of the entire piping system.
The use of high-quality materials and optimized ball bearing races ensures the long service life of ADG®-M Swivel Joints. Particular attention was also paid to minimizing maintenance requirements during their development. The infrequent maintenance procedures can be carried out quickly, easily and efficiently.
The ADG®-M Swivel Joint was specifically developed for marine applications. Its robust construction and high resistance to saltwater corrosion make it particularly suitable for harsh conditions at sea. It is especially suitable for use with loading arms and hose loading stations.
Ideally, the ADG®-M Swivel Joint is combined with other ARTA marine couplings and equipment.
